Adriana Paniagua is Miss Nicaragua 2018

Adriana Paniagua from Chinandegana was crowned as Miss Nicaragua 2018  during a gala which this year marks 18 years of Miss Nicaragua pageant held in the Sala Mayor of the Rubén Darío National Theater. The contest had women empowerment as its theme this year. She will now compete in Miss Universe 2018 contest to be held later this year.

Adriana won seven special awards, including Miss Digital, Best Hair, Best National Costume and Best Smile. She is a former Miss Teen Nicaragua and represented Nicaragua at Miss Teen International 2017 winning the crown itself.

During the final question related to the unsupervised use of the Internet in youth, Paniagua advised to make better use of social platforms to generate positive changes in society.

In the same competition, Belén Espinales came in fifth place, fourth place went to Laura Ramírez; third position in the contest was Alejandra Pereira and second best was Ingger Zepeda.


Barbara Reis crowned Miss Supranational Brazil 2018

Barbara Reis of Sinop, Mato Grosso state, has been chosen as Miss Supranational Brazil 2018. She is 20 years old and 1,80 m-tall. She succeeds Thyna Lima as the new Miss Supranational Brazil.

Barbara was last year’s Vice Miss Brasil World. She was crowned in the presence of reigning Miss World Brazil 2017 Gabrielle Vilela. Last year at Miss Supranational 2017, Thyna Lima made it to the top 25. Barbara will try to better the placement and possibly win the Miss Supranational crown.

Ratiyaporn Chookaew is Miss International Thailand 2017

Ratiyaporn Chookaew from Songkhla, Southern Thailand has been appointed as Miss International Thailand 2017. She succeeds Pattiya Pongthai, Miss International Thailand 2016. Pattiya was a top 15 semi-finalist at Miss International 2016.

Ratiyaporn will now travel to Japan in November for Miss International 2017 contest.  The 57th Miss International pageant, to be held on November 14, 2017 at the Tokyo, Japan.


Earlier, Ratiyaporn won Miss Grand Phatthalung 2017 and competed in Miss Grand Thailand where she was among the top 12. She is 19 years old and stands 178 cm tall.


Miss Serbia 2017

Ivana Trišić (21) was recently crowned Miss Serbia 2017. She will represent Serbia at the 68th Miss World contest in 2018.

First runner-up in the competition was Maja Marčić. She is expected to represent her country at Miss Universe 2018.

Nina Jovanović finished as second runner-up. She is expected to compete in 2018 edition of Miss Earth.

Mrs India USA, Sarita Pattnaik is Mrs India Worldwide 2017

Sarita Pattnaik representing USA at Mrs India Worldwide 2017 won the the second edition of Mrs India Worldwide pageant after besting  12 other contestants of Indian descent from different countries. She succeeded last year winner Namita Dodwadkarv of USA.

The contest was held at Royal Albert’s Palace, Fords, NJ on October 8, 2017 alongwith Miss India Worldwide 2017.

First Runner Up in the contest was Mrs India Mauritius, Nishi Singh while second Runner Up was Radha Shah, Mrs India UAE.

Mrs India Worldwide Pageant was started in 2016 and is produced by the IFC, based in New York City. IFC is the same organization that holds Miss India Worldwide annually since 1980.

Miss India USA, Madhu Valli is Miss India Worldwide 2017

Miss India USA, Madhu Valli from Virginia has just been crowned Miss India Worldwide 2017 in a glittering ceremony held at Royal Alberts Palace, New Jersey on October 8, 2017. She bested 16 other contestants to get the crown from last year winner, Karina Kohli.

Miss Valli is currently studying Criminology with concentration in Criminal Law at George Mason University and lives in Fairfax, Virginia.

The first runner-up at the same contest was Miss India France and second runner-up was Miss India Guyana 2017.

Miss India Worldwide is a beauty pageant which draws contestants from India and from among members of the Indian diasporaresiding in other countries. It is conducted by India Festival Committee (IFC), founded and headed by Dharmatma Saran in New York City, USA.
