Miss Czech Republic 2017, Kateřina Kasanová has been officially appointed as Miss World Czech Republic 2018 to represent Czech Republic at Miss World 2018 pageant to held on December 8th in Sanya, China.
The 1.77m beauty was appointed by the Miss Czech Republic Organization, the official license holders of Miss World in Czech Republic.
Katerina will now try to become the second woman from her country to win Miss World crown. Taťána Kuchařová won the country’s only Miss World crown in 2006.
23 year old On-anong Homsombath, first runner up of Miss Universe Laos 2017, has been appointed as the new Miss Universe Laos. She will now represent Laos in Miss Universe 2018 contest to be held later this year.
The organizer, TVLAO HD, announced the official selection and appointment appointment of On-anong Homsombath to represent Laos in the Miss Universe 2018 competition on its Facebook page.
The 171cm tall beauty queen, graduated from Kaposvar University of Hungary in 2017, majoring in International relations. She worked at the Mekong River Commission.
After much speculation, Meenakshi Chaudhary has been confirmed as India’s representative to Miss Grand International 2018 pageant. She will now travel to the Golden Land, Myanmar, to compete as Miss Grand India at Miss Grand International 2018, which will be held on October 25th , 2018.
21 year old Meenakshi is a state-level swimmer and badminton player and is currently pursuing Bachelors in Dental Surgery. She was 1st runner-up in Femina Miss India 2018 contest held a couple of months ago. She represent Haryana at the national pageant.
Dario Duque of USA is Mister Global 2018. He was crowned on July 22, 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand after the final was postponed to a day. The new Mister Global from USA succeeded Pedro Gicca as Mister Global 2018. During his reign, Dario will live in Bangkok, Thailand. More than 40 representatives from different countries took part in the pageant.
At the same contest, 1st RU spot went to Ahmed Lasheen of Egypt, 2nd RU position was bagged by Poland’s Jakub Piotr Kucner, Dwayne Geldenhuis of South Africa took the 3rd RU title while Thailand’s GameGoh Staporn finished the top 5 as 4th RU.
Albania, Germany, Brazil, Ethiopia, South Korea, Philippines, Hong Kong, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Vietnam were in the top 15 (semi-finalists).

24-year-old Arena Zeynalian, a Tehran-Armenian successfully bested the other 19 participants during the Miss Armenian 2018 pageant to be crowned Miss Armenia 2018. She will now represent her country at the Miss World 2018 contest to be held later this year in Sanya, China.
Before the selection of Miss World Armenia 2018, a separate pageant was held called “Talent” on July 5. The winner was 25-year-old Eliza Muradyan, who will now represent Armenia at Miss Universe 2018 pageant later this year, becoming the first representative of Armenia to compete in Miss Universe pageant.
Nadia Purwoko, a 26-year-old corporate lawyer and model in Jakarta who graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia was crowned Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 by her National Director of Miss Grand Indonesia Organization, Dikna Faradiba and sashed by Maria Jose Lora Miss Grand International 2017 and Ariska Putri Pertiwi, Miss Grand International 2016 at the Grand Final of Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 beauty pageant successfully held at Jakarta Convention Center, Indonesia.
Nadia successfully set aside 29 finalists and managed to snatch the crown worth Rp 3 billion. Meanwhile, 1st Runner Up title was won by Miss Grand Sumatera, Utara Vivi Wijaya and 2nd Runner Up was won by Miss Grand Jakarta, Stefani Cecilia Munte.
The Grand Miss Indonesia Grand Finals were also attended by Miss Grand International Nawat Itsaragrisil, Miss International International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi, Miss International 2015 Claire Elizabeth Parker, and Miss International 2017 Maria Jose Lora.
Nam-oi Chanapan who represented Phuket was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2018 uring Saturday’s crowning ceremony at BITEC convention center in Bangkok. The 25 year old beauty queen bested 76 other representatives to win the right to Thailand in Miss Grand International 2018 pageant.
Nam-oi, a university student at Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, is 180 centimetres tall, won a diamond crown worth Bt1.2 million, a house and a car.
Nam-oi will represent Thailand in the Miss Grand International competition to be held in Myanmar in October.
Jukjick Jirachaya from Nakon Pathom and Aink Ingchanok from Sakon Nakhon were the first and second runners-up. The third runner-up was Biw Nantapak from Buriram and the fourth runner-up was Sa Kaeo’s Tungmay Matawee.
Dee-Ann Rogers from Anguilla has been crowned Miss Universe Great Britain 2018 at the Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre, Newport on Saturday night of 14th July 2018. She is the first black woman to win the prestigous crown and will now be a representative of Great Britain at the 2018 Miss Universe contest.
She was chosen among the 40 finalists representing various regions of Great Britain. Dee-Ann is a Law degree holder from the University of Birmingham. She is an Athlete and competed twice in Commonwealth Games.
Yashvi Aware was crowned Miss Earth United States 208 during a grand finale held on 14th July 2018 at the Rachel M. Schlesinger Concert Hall in Virginia. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss United States 2017 Andrea Gibau. Yashvi will now represent United States at the 2018 Miss Earth Pageant to be held later this year.

Han Thi has crowned Miss Myanmar World 2018 at the Yay Kuu Amplified Broadcast Centre, Yangon, Myanmar during a national finale held on Saturday night, 14th July 2018. Han Thi will represent Myanmar at the Miss World 2018 beauty contest as Miss World Myanmar 2018.
Han is 21 years old from Yangon. She is a student at Stamford International University. Han knows Mandarin Chinese, Myanmar, English and Korean language. She is an actress, model and singer. She represented her country at Miss Supranational 2014 where she finished in the top 10 and won the continental title for Asia and Oceania.
Francesca Mifsud, 22, was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2018. Tiffany Pisani, the outgoing queen crowned Francesca as her successor. She will now represent Malta in the Miss Universe contest to be held later this year.
Francesca, from Żejtun, was chosen among the 25 finalists. She also won the Best Physique award. A law student, she wants to become a become a lawyer and work on both civil and criminal cases. This was her second attempt, the first one being in 2016 where she was placed fourth.
Lyann Iles from placed second, while Marilena Gauci from Mellieħa placed third.
Kim Soo Min, the 22-year-old Miss Gyeonggi, was crowned the winner of the 2018 Miss Korea during a glittering finale held at the Olympic Park Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul on July 4. Kim will now go on to represent Korea at the Miss Earth 2018 pageant later this year.
The 23-year-old newly crowned winner stands 173.4cm (5’6″) tall. She was selected among the 32 contestants representing various regions of Korea. Kim holds a degree from Dickinson University International Business, and aspires to be an international reporter.
Apart from winning the main crown and earning the right to represent Korea at Miss Earth 2018, Kim also won $90,000 USD in prize money.
Rahima Dirkse was elected Miss Netherlands 2018 in Scheveningen on Monday evening. She will now represent the Netherlands this year at the Miss Universe 2018 contest. The 24-year-old model from Rotterdam takes over the title from Nicky Opheij who won in 2017.Dirkse was chosen from twelve finalists.
The Miss and Mister Tropical Beauties Suriname 2018 Pageant took place on 01 July 2018 at KKF Beursterrein, Paramaribo. At the end of the event, 21 year old Sri-Dewi Martomamat was crowned Miss Tropical Beauties Suriname 2018 while Angelo Wijngaarde was named Mr Tropical Beauties Suriname 2018.
Sri-Dewi Martomamat stands 1.70 m tall and will now represent her country at the 11th edition of Miss Supranational in 2019.
24 years old Angelo Wijngaarde stands 1.8m tall and will compete for the 3rd Mister Supranational title on December 8th in Poland.
