In this year´s edition of Miss Haiti 2019 hosted in Port-Au-Price, Gabriela Clesca Vallejo was crowned Miss Universe Haiti 2019. The 25-year-old model and Bachelor of International Development and Civil Law graduate will head on to compete at the 2019 Miss Universe contest.
Born from a Haitian-Congolese father and a Dominican mother, Vallejo was raised in Haiti before moving with her family to Canada during her teenage years. She speaks English, Creole, French and Spanish.
Vallejo is no stranger to pageants as she competed in Miss Supranational 2014, representing Canada, and placed in the Top 20 and bagged Miss Congeniality.
Miss International Haiti 2019 was also elected on the occasion, and she is Lory-Anne Charles, an Economics and model who will compete in Miss International 2019, on November 12th, in Tokyo, Japan.
