22-year old Indian-origin and a student of International Relations and Economy, Mehr Eliezer, was crowned Señorita Panamá 2019 in a glittering ceremony held at the Roberto Durán Arena in Panama City, on June 20th. She represented Isla Flamenco at the pageant. Eliezer will now represent Panama in the 68th Miss Universe pageant to be held later in the year. Eliezer who hails from Panama City stands 1.71 m in height and can speaks five languages.
At the same event, crowned as Señorita Panamá International was 22-year old Betzaida Rodríguez, who represented Los Santos. The 1.78 m-tall beauty was crowned by reigning titleholder Mariem Velazco, and is a student of Industrial Engineering. She will travel to Tokyo, Japan, to compete in the 59th Miss International beauty pageant on November 12th.
Finishing the competition at third place and thereby winning Señorita Panamá Grand title was 23-year-old Carmen Drayton, representing Portobelo. Drayton will now represent Panama in Miss Grand International 2019 to be held in Caracas, Venezuela, on October 25th. Carmen stands 1.75 m in height and is a student of Tourism.
The 1st runner-up was Panamá Este, Carmen Jaramillo, who will travel to Ecuador to compete in Miss United Continents, while the 2nd runner-up was Coclé, Ana Lucía Tejeira, who will compete in Reina Hispanoamericana to be held in Bolivia.
