Ghazal Gill and Raquel Basco were both chosen as The United Sates and Hawaii representatives in Miss International 2019 during a national competition held at Celebration High School in Kissimmee, Florida, last Friday.
Ghazal Gill, representing the West Coast, was crowned Miss US International 2019 during the finals. The 23-year-old Indian-American model bested 32 other candidates for the right to represent the USA at the 2019 Miss International beauty pageant in November in Japan.
Also crowned in the same event is Miss US Landscapes 2019 Brianne Bailey of California.
North Carolina’s Jessica Lucas finished first runner-up, while Hawaii’s Raquel Basco was 2nd runner-up. Nevada’s Emily Irene placed 3rd runner-up.
At the same event, second runner-up, Raquel Basco, 27, was crowned as Miss Hawaii International 2019.
Both will compete in Miss International 2019, om November 12th, in Tokyo, Japan.
