Keryn Matthew, from Edinburgh, won the title of Miss Scotland on Saturday night during a national gala held in Glasgow’s Grand Central Station Hotel. The 24-year-old, who also studied at Edinburgh University, bested 17 other contestants, to be crowned by last year winners, Linzi McLelland.
Keryn will compete in Miss World in Thailand, on December 7th hoping to win the coveted blue crown.
The other winners were Celine Robertson who came second and Jodie Weir finished in third place.
