23-year-old Gazini Christiana Ganados emerged as the winner of Binibining Pilipinas 2019 winning the most coveted crown in the Philippines i.e. Miss Universe Philippines 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday night.
Ganados represented Cebu in the Binibining Pilipinas contest, and beat 39 other hopefuls to win 56th Bb. Pilipinas pageant. She is a model who comes from Talisay City. She is a graduate of the University of San Jose Recoletos, having studied a degree in tourism.
During the final of the contest, Judge Bobby Barreiro, asked Ganados what she could do to get more women in the workplace, she said: “If I win the crown tonight, what I will do is to promote my advocacy. My advocacy is for us women to fight for our rights and for elderly care and for us to be able to know that someone is loving and someone is pushing us to whatever ambitions that we have. We will be able to rise from our decisions to whatever dreams that we have, goals that we have, and we will achieve it because of those values, those wisdoms that they gave us.”
A lawyer Patricia Magtanong of Bataan took home the title of Bb. Pilipinas-International 2019 who will represent Philippines in Miss International 2019 to held in Tokyo later this year.
Emma Mary Tiglao of Pampanga won the title Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental2019, Resham Ramirez Saeed of Maguindanao was chosen as Bb. Pilinas-Supranational 2019, Bb. Pilipinas-Grand International 2019 went to Samantha Ashley Lo of Cebu City and Bb. Pilipinas-Globe 2019 was awarded to Leren Mae Bautista of Laguna.
Maria Andrea Abesamis of Pasig City and Samantha Bernardo of Palawan finished as 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively.
