An aspiring actor from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Jitesh Singh Deo has won the title of Peter Mr India 2017 contest at a glittering event held in Mumbai on Thursday (December 14). The new Mister India is a model and did his graduation from Indraprastha Engineering College in Delhi.
The 22-year-old model took the title from last year winner Vishnu Raj Menon from Bengaluru. He will compete in the next edition of Mr World to held next year probably in the UK. Jitesh defeated 16 contestants competing in the finale and was felicitated by none other than Bollywood ‘Queen’ Kangana Ranaut. He had earlier participated in the Mr India contest in 2015.
At the same contest, Prathamesh Maulingkar bagged the title of Peter England Mr India Supranational 2017. He will represent India at Mister Supranational 2018 next year. The first runner-up was Abhi Khajuria and the second runner-up was Pavan Rao. All the contestants were groomed and mentored by Mr World 2017 Rohit Khandelwal.
