After missing in the Miss Universe competition since 2014, Trinidad and Tobago will return to Miss Universe pageant in this year edition. 27 years old Yvonne Clarke will be the flag bearer of Trinidad and Tobago at Miss Universe 2017 to held on November 26th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Yvonne was crowned Miss Universe Trinidad & Tobago 2017 during a gala held last night at the Banquet and Conference Centre at The Cascadia Hotel. The first runner-up was Martreciya Alleyne while Gleniscia Wilson was second runner-up.
Yvonne Clarke, who hails from the city of San Fernando, walked away with the crown after besting 10 delegates competing for the prestigious title. She is a graduate of Naparima Girls’ High School. Currently residing in Port of Spain, she is pursuing a degree in Clinical Sonography and is also a Managing Director of her own fashion business.
