Meet Darasing Khurana, the new Rubaru Mr India International 2017

Darasing Khurana hailing from Parbhani, a town in the Indian state of Maharashtra, was recently elected as the new Rubaru Mr India International 2017 in Mumbai. The event happened on 27 August 2017 in Andheri West region of Mumbai where this 25 year-old charming gentleman was awarded with the prestigious title of Rubaru Mr India International 2017. He will now represent India at the twelfth edition of the renowned Mister International competition, scheduled to take place later this year.

Darasing Khurana is a freelance model, entrepreneur and fashion consultant. This very good-looking hombre holds a Master’s degree in Business Management from the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). Standing 6 foot tall, Darasing was considered has a major front runner for the title of Rubaru Mr India International 2017. He grabbed attention for is very charming face having almond shaped mesmerising dreamy brown eyes and his extremely photogenic looks.

He is a well-established model in India and has walked the runway at several Indian and International fashion shows. Some of them include, the India International Style Week, Bangalore Style Week, India Luxury Style Week, Lakme Fashion Week and other fashion events. When he is on the other side of the camera, he serves as a fashion consultant to leading Bollywood personalities and people associated to the fascinating world of glitz and glamour. Other than this, he owns a Cinematic Wedding Filming company that he established at the age of 21.

After winning the title of Rubaru Mr India International 2017, one of the main responsibilities that he has to shoulder now is of represent India at the world’s most prestigious international pageant for men known as the Mister International pageant. This extravagant international pageant is produced by the Mister International Organization headquartered in Singapore owned by Alan Sim. In the year 2016, the Mister International Organization awarded the rights to the Rubaru Mr India Organization for selecting the India’s representatives to the Mister International pageant. The Rubaru Mr India pageant is India’s biggest and longest surviving annual male pageant. The pageant began in the year 2004 and has been happening every year ever since its inception. This year the Rubaru Mr India pageant entered its fifteenth year of being in existence.

At this year’s Mister International competition the winner of Mister International 2016, Paul Iskandar will pass on his title to his successor. Models from all over the world will take part in this international pageant festival that will be a two to three week-long event. The event will consist of various preliminary activities and the participating candidates will be judged on various parameters like runway skills, individual interviews, talent and other pre-pageant activities. At the conclusion of the event on the grand finale, the best performing delegate will be proclaimed as the eventual winner. The winner of Mister International pageant receives various prizes and awards. Apart from this, he gets the opportunity to travel the world attending various fashion and charitable events and promoting goodwill amongst nations.
