At the same event, 1st Runner-up title was awarded to Riku Yuasa representing Tokushima while 2nd Runner-up spot went to Kazuhiro Hatomi who represented Ibaraki. Reigning Miss Supranational Japan 2017 Yuki Koshikawa also attended the crowning ceremony.

Takanori has traveled across North America to South America as a backpacker. He is fluent in English and Japanese. What inspired him to join Mister Supranational Japan was when he saw Rikuki became Mister Supranational Japan last year.
