21 years old and 1.83 cm tall Julianne Britton representing Taboga has been crowned Senorita Panama Mundo (Miss Panama World 2017) during a national gala on July 4, at the Centro de Convenciones Atlapa in Panama City. She bested 19 hopefuls to win the right to represent Panama at the Miss World 2017 pageant to be held in China in November. She was crowned by outgoing queen Alessandra Bueno.
Erika Parker (Colón) placed first runner-up while Karol Dayana Batista (Los Santos) was second runner-up. Ana Cristina “Titi” Del Castillo (Isla Flamenco) and Laura De Sanctis (Isla Contadora) finished thrid and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Julianne speaks English and French, studies international business management, is a professional singer and beach volleyball player.She volunteers from the women’s development center. She wants to be an inspiration for people who live abuse of domestic violence through awareness-raising campaigns to society.
