18 year old Michelle Isemonger from southeast Auckland was crowned Miss International New Zealand 2017 at the end of Miss World New Zealand 2017. She was second runner-up in Miss World New Zealand 2017. She will represent her country at Miss International 2017 in Tokyo, Japan to held later this year.
After being given the title of Miss International New Zealand 2017, she expressed her joy on her Facebook page. “I am so proud to be your Miss International New Zealand 2017!I cannot say thank you enough to all of the sponsors who allowed me to get where I am today!Along with the amazing support system I have including my friends, family and everyone online!A special thank you to Rose, Des, Hannah and kylie. You all work so hard behind the scenes and I cannot say thank you enough for the work you do! You are truly miracle workers.
Michelle Isemonger is currently studying Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Economics and Finance at Auckland University. For her Beauty with a Purpose project, she was involved with the Rotary Club of Half Moon Bay and also Project Hope – a charity program for youth development.
