Reshita Baruah from Jorhat, Assam who represented India at Ms World 2017 wins 2nd runners up and Ms congeniality at the Ms. World 2017 held at the Everett Performing Arts Center, Everett, Washington, USA on 28 May 2017. There were eleven contestants from different countries competing for the title of Ms World 2017 where the winner was Meghan Buelt from the US. Lidia Szczepanowski from Poland was crowned Ms. World Elite and Nancy-Ellen Martin was declared Ms. World International.
Reshita Baruah was the winner of Mrs South Asia 2017 where she got the title of Ms. World India 2017. She currently works at CSIR – North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat, Assam.
Ms. World is a pageant for women age 26 and above.
