Yaritza Reyes is  the new (Nuestra Belleza Republica Dominicana Mundo) Miss Dominican Republic 2016. She will now compete at the upcoming Miss World pageant that will be held later this year. The event was held at Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. If Yaritza wins Miss World 2016 she will become the first-ever Dominican to win Miss World 2016.

In second place was Valverde, Perla Nunez, who will travel to Japan to compete in Miss International 2016.
