The most prestigious beauty pageant of Bihar, Miss Bihar 2015 was held in Sri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna on 28th December, 2015 where Piyush Varsha (18) won the coveted title Miss Bihar 2015 crown while Tanushree (17) emerged as first runner up and second runner up title went to Aarohi Shrivastava (18)
Piyush, who passed class 12th from Delhi Public School (DPS) Patna, is currently pursuing dentistry in Lucknow. She said she wants to do modelling along with her studies. 1st Runner up Tanushree is a class 12th student of Delhi Public School in Patna, who aims to become a fashion designer in future and 2nd Runner up Aarohi has passed Class 12th.
“Bihar has immense talent and such type of competitions would give a platform to the girls of Bihar to showcase their talent and inspire them to contest in the international level,” asserted Bihar Art and Culture Minister Shiv Chandra Ram, who inaugurated the grand finale of Miss Bihar 2015.
About the contest, Shalu, former Miss Bihar and the coordinator of the event explained, “In total, we selected 150 participants from different districts of Bihar for this competition, out of which 20 entered into the grand finale, which had five rounds. In the first round, the participants competed in Bollwood dance numbers and introduced themselves in the second round. In third stage, participants went through a club round and their IQ was tested in the fourth round. The judges decided the winner in the fifth and final round.”
