Paul Charles of Guyana is crowned Mr Caribbean 2016 which was organized by Marie Antoinette Mora, at the Arawak House of Culture, Dominica on Friday 29th January 2016. The contest was scheduled to take place in May 2015 but was cancelled following Tropical Storm Erika.
The 29-year old Paul Charles is a professional dancer, music teacher and model and outperformed five other contestants to be crowned as Mr Caribbean 2016. Ersil Charles Jr. of Antigua and Barbuda was the First runner-up and Michael Redhead of Grenada was the second runner-up.

The other contestants were Andres Ramirez who represented The Dominican Republic and Junior Thomas of Dominica. To be chosen as a winner, the contestants competed in introductory, costume, talent, swimwear, formal wear, and interview segments.
